Big flat buttons, Zigbee smart control

The Zemismart ZM-808 is a Zigbee push button light switch with large flat keys. Press anywhere on a key to switch the light, so there’s no small target to hunt for. It comes in 1, 2, 3 and 4 gang versions, all in the same tall white plate, and connects to the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app through a Tuya Zigbee hub.

Want a traditional paddle look? See the TB26. Need 6 lights on one switch? See the ZM-808-6 6 gang (4×4 box). No Zigbee hub? Why choose the ZM-808

  • Wide-area press keys. Each key is a full-width flat panel with a positive click.
  • Up to 4 gangs in one plate. Control four separate lights from one switch.
  • Zigbee, not WiFi. Pairs to your Zigbee hub, keeping your WiFi network free of extra devices.
  • Adjustable indicator. Choose off, on/off status, or a locator light that glows when the light is off so you can find the switch in the dark.
  • Timers and schedules. Schedule, Circulate and Random timing in the app.
  • Voice control. Works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant through the Tuya/Smart Life skill.
  • Two-part design. Wire and fix the base first, then clip the switch panel on.
  • Choose your panel. Standard PC or an aluminium alloy front.

You will need a Tuya Zigbee hub

The ZM-808 is a Zigbee device, so it needs a Tuya-compatible Zigbee hub on your network. Zemismart hubs that work with it include the T1, M1 and M6. The hub is sold separately.

With a Zemismart M1 or M6 hub, the switch can also appear in Apple Home, Google Home and SmartThings.

App control from anywhere

Turn lights on or off from your phone at home or away, rename each gang, and group switches into scenes and automations in the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app.

Timers, countdowns and “away” mode

Set a countdown or delay-off, schedule lights at fixed times, use Circulate to switch on and off repeatedly in a set period, or use Random to make the house look occupied while you’re away. You can also choose what each gang does after a power cut (relay status).

Frequently asked questions

Will the ZM-808 fit a UK back box?

Does it need a neutral wire?

Yes. This version (ZM-808-L) needs live and neutral. No neutral at your switch? See the ZM-808 No Neutral version.

Do I need a hub?

Yes. It needs a Tuya Zigbee hub such as the Zemismart T1, M1 or M6. It won’t connect directly to WiFi.

Does it work with Alexa and Google?

Yes, through the Tuya Smart or Smart Life skill.

Does it work with Apple Home?

Not directly. With a Zemismart M1 or M6 hub, it can be shown in Apple Home, Google Home and SmartThings.

Can I set different timers for each gang?

Yes. Each gang has its own countdown, schedule, Circulate and Random settings.

What load can it switch?

Up to 700W incandescent or 300W LED per gang, 16A maximum.

What’s the difference between this and the ZMS-208US?

Both are Zigbee push button switches for US boxes. The ZMS-208US has a small screen above each button showing a custom name; the ZM-808 has plain, full-width flat keys with no screen.

Is there a Matter version?

Yes, the ZM808-P.

Can I fit it myself?

We recommend a qualified electrician, following your local wiring regulations.
