An electric curtain track with no plug socket needed
The Zemismart ZM87EL-ZP is a complete electric curtain track with a rechargeable motor, so there's no mains wiring, no socket by the ceiling and no electrician to book. Pair it with a Tuya Zigbee hub and open or close your curtains from the Tuya or Smart Life app, by voice with Alexa or Google, or with the included RF remote.
The aluminium track comes in sections that join together, so one kit covers anything from a small window to a full wall, in sizes from 2m to 8m.

Have a socket near the window? See the ZM87E, the plug-in version that never needs charging.
Rechargeable 3200mAh battery
The motor holds a 3200mAh (7.4V) rechargeable battery that charges through its USB-C port with the included 1m cable. The app shows the battery level, so you know when to top it up. Charge it before it runs flat to look after the battery.
Works with a Tuya Zigbee hub
The ZM87EL-ZP connects through a Tuya Zigbee hub, such as the Zemismart M6 (not included). Once it's paired, you can:
- Open, close or set an exact position from anywhere in the Tuya or Smart Life app
- See the curtain position and battery level
- Set the open and closed limits
- Create schedules and scenes, and group several curtains together
Voice control with Alexa and Google
Link your Smart Life account to Alexa or Google Home and say "Alexa, close the curtains".
RF remote included
The RF remote opens, stops and closes the curtains without your phone. It takes a CR2450 coin battery, which is not included.
Centre or side opening
Use a pair of curtains that part in the middle, or a single curtain that opens to one side. The kit includes the parts for both.
Built to run smoothly
- On/off switch: turn the motor off when you don't need it.
- Aluminium track: light, strong and joined with connectors to the length you need.
- Belt drive: for quiet, smooth movement at about 12.8cm per second.
- 1.2Nm torque motor: for everyday curtains.
Choosing the right kit size
Measure the track length you need, then choose the kit at or just above it.
- Covering a whole wall (alcove): track length = wall width minus 3cm.
- Covering just the window: track length = window width plus 70cm, so the curtains stack clear of the glass.
For example, a 2.6m track needs the 3m kit.

Quick setup
- Make sure the motor is switched on, and that your phone and Zigbee hub are on the same 2.4GHz WiFi network.
- Press the Set key on the motor three times within 5 seconds. The light flashes quickly, then goes out.
- In the Tuya or Smart Life app, open your Zigbee hub and tap "Add subdevice", then "LED already blink".
- When the motor is found, tap "Done" and name it.
To pair the remote, press Set on the motor once, then press the up button on the remote within 5 seconds. The motor light flashes rapidly when it's paired. On a multi-channel remote, choose the channel first with the < or > button.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an electrician to fit it?
No. The motor is battery-powered, so there's no mains wiring. You just need to drill and fit the brackets.
Do I need a hub?
Yes, a Tuya Zigbee hub such as the Zemismart M6. It isn't included.
Does it work with Apple Home?
Not directly. For Apple Home, choose the MT03B, the Matter version.
Which size kit do I need?
Measure your track length (wall width minus 3cm, or window width plus 70cm) and choose the kit that covers it.
How do I charge it?
Plug the included USB-C cable into the motor and a 5V USB charger. The app shows the battery level.
