A rechargeable roller blind motor that hides inside the tube

The Zemismart ZM25WB is a tubular motor that slides inside a 37–38mm roller blind tube, so there's no chain, no cord and no visible motor. A built-in rechargeable battery means no wiring or plug socket, and it connects straight to your home WiFi, so you don't need a hub.

Control your roller blind from the Tuya or Smart Life app, by voice with Alexa or Google, or with the optional 16-channel remote.

Rechargeable 2600mAh battery

The built-in 2600mAh lithium battery charges through a USB-C port at the end of the motor, using the included 3m cable. Or choose a version with the solar panel, which fits at the window and keeps the battery topped up.

WiFi control, no hub needed

The motor connects directly to your 2.4GHz WiFi and is found automatically in the Tuya or Smart Life app. Open, close or set the blind to any position from anywhere, and group several blinds together.

Voice control and schedules

Enable the Tuya or Smart Life skill in Alexa or Google Home and say "Alexa, close the blinds". Set the blind to open at 7am and close when the afternoon sun comes round, every day or on chosen days.

16-channel remote with a position display

The optional remote controls up to 15 blinds separately, or a group of blinds together. Its screen shows the blind's position as a percentage, and a jog dial lets you move it precisely. A favourite button takes the blind to your preferred position. It runs on two AAA batteries (not included).

Two speeds

The motor runs at a quiet 20rpm by default. While it's moving, press the same direction button on the remote to switch to 30rpm. It remembers the last speed you used.

Set your limits

Set the upper and lower limits so the blind always stops in the right place, plus a middle position for partly open.

Will it fit my blind?

• Tube: 37–38mm aluminium roller tube, at least 500mm long.
• Blind size: up to 2.1m wide and 2.1m drop, with 0.6m to 2m wide recommended.
• Weight: blinds up to 4kg.

Check your tube's inside shape matches the motor's drive adapter before ordering. If you're not sure, contact us with a photo of your tube end.

Quick setup

1. Make sure your phone is on 2.4GHz WiFi.
2. Hold the setting button on the motor for 6 seconds. The orange light blinks twice, then the blue light blinks continuously.
3. Open the Tuya or Smart Life app, tap "+" then "Add Device". The motor is found automatically. Tap "Done".

To pair the remote, hold the motor's setting button for 2 seconds (the blind jogs up and down), then press PRG on the back of the remote within 5 seconds. The blind jogs again when it's paired.

Do I need a hub?

No. It connects straight to your 2.4GHz WiFi.

Will it fit my roller blind?

It fits 37–38mm roller tubes at least 500mm long, for blinds up to 2.1m wide and 4kg. Measure your tube's diameter before ordering.

How do I charge it?

Plug the included USB-C cable into the port at the end of the motor, or add the solar panel to keep it topped up.

Does it work with Alexa and Google Home?

Yes. Enable the Tuya or Smart Life skill in the Alexa or Google Home app.

What batteries does the remote use?

Two AAA batteries, which aren't included.

Which motor should I choose?

For heavy blinds up to 10kg on a 38mm tube, with Matter and Apple Home, the ZM25C. For heavy blinds up to 10kg with Tuya and no hub, the ZM25TQ. For heavy blinds up to 10kg on Zigbee with a simple remote, the ZM25TQ Zigbee. For very large blinds up to 2.1m × 4.1m on Zigbee, with two speeds and a 16-channel remote, the ZM25Z (up to 9kg). For lighter blinds up to 4kg with Tuya and no hub, the ZM25R2 (mains powered). For a rechargeable motor with no wiring, the ZM25WB (WiFi, up to 4kg) or the ZM25EL (Zigbee, with a solar option).
