Smart curtains without changing your pole or track
The Zemismart ZM85EL-2Z is a battery-powered curtain robot that clips onto your existing curtain pole or track and opens and closes the curtain for you. There's no new track, no wiring and no plug socket. Pair it with a Tuya Zigbee hub to control your curtains from the Tuya or Smart Life app, by voice with Alexa or Google, with the included remote, or with the buttons on the robot.
Choose the solar version and the robot keeps itself charged from daylight.
Other curtain robots: the ZM85EL-2R connects over WiFi with no hub needed, and the ZM86E-2Z is a Zigbee robot for poles up to 32mm.
Fits poles and the most common tracks
Mounting parts for four types of fitting are included. Measure yours before ordering:

Fitting the robot
Fit the right mounting part to your pole or track, then push the robot into place. No tools or drilling needed. The latest pole fitting clamps neatly over the pole for a firmer hold.
Side or centre opening
Choose the side-opening kit (one robot) for a single curtain, or the centre-opening kit (two robots) for a pair of curtains that part in the middle. For centre opening, fit the two robots facing each other so they move towards the middle.
App, voice and schedules
Pair the robot with a Tuya Zigbee hub, such as the Zemismart M6 (not included). Then open, close or set the curtain to any position from anywhere, check the battery level, and control several curtains together or one at a time.
Link your Smart Life account to Alexa or Google Home and say "Alexa, close the living room curtains".
Set the curtains to open at 8am and close at 6pm, every day or on chosen days.
Remote with preset positions
The included RF remote has open, stop and close buttons, plus one-touch presets for partly open positions. It can control all your robots at once or each one separately.
Quiet and strong
The robot runs at about 25dB and pulls curtains up to 10kg.
Battery and solar charging
The robot has a built-in 3000mAh rechargeable battery, and the Tuya app shows the battery level. Charge it over USB, or choose a solar kit to keep it topped up from daylight.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a hub?
Yes, a Tuya Zigbee hub such as the Zemismart M6. It isn't included. If you'd rather not use a hub, choose the WiFi version, the ZM85EL-2R.
Will it fit my curtain pole?
It fits poles from 20mm to 28mm in diameter. Thicker poles, such as 35mm, won't fit.
Which kit do I need?
The side-opening kit for a single curtain, or the centre-opening kit (two robots) for a pair that opens from the middle.
Does it work with Alexa and Google Home?
Yes. Link your Tuya or Smart Life account to Alexa or Google Home.
