Please note: this is a mains-wired switch for a qualified electrician to install. It needs a neutral wire at the switch and a Tuya Zigbee hub (not included).

Every button tells you what it does

No more guessing which switch is the landing and which is the hall. The Zemismart ZMS-206EU has a slim screen above the buttons that shows a name for each one, such as "Kitchen", "Lamp" or "Balcony". Change the names in the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app and the screen updates straight away. There are no stickers or label makers, and it still looks tidy.

Names in your language

Button names can be written in English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Hebrew, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese and Chinese. Each name can be up to 9 English characters long.

UK-size 86mm glass plate

The 86 × 86mm plate has fixing holes 60mm apart, the same footprint as a standard UK single switch, so it fits a UK back box. The body behind the plate is 23mm deep.

White or black glass

Choose bright white glass, or gloss black glass with a slim silver frame. Black suits dark walls, modern kitchens and monochrome interiors. Both colours work the same way.

Fits a UK back box

The fixing holes are slotted, from 55.8mm to 67.8mm apart, which covers the 60.3mm centres of a standard UK single back box. The body is 25.3mm deep behind an 8.2mm plate, so a 35mm box gives the most room for cables.

Choose 1, 2 or 3 gangs

Set your own backlight colour

Pick red, blue, green, white or yellow for the button rings, and set the brightness anywhere from 0 to 100% in the app. You can also choose how the indicator behaves, and what the switch does after a power cut.

Wakes as you approach

A proximity sensor lights the screen when someone walks up to it, so you can read the names in the dark without the display glowing all night.

Settings in the app

• Radar wake time: choose off, 10, 20, 30 or 45 seconds
• ON and OFF colours: set different ring colours for on and off
• Backlight: set the brightness, or turn it off
• Child lock: disable the wall buttons, while the app and voice still work
• Power-on state: choose what happens after a power cut
• Switch log: see when each button was used

Touch, app, voice and timers

• Touch: tap the glass buttons on the wall.
• App: control each light from anywhere with the Tuya app.
• Voice: Amazon Alexa, Google Home or Samsung Bixby, linked through the Tuya app.
• Timers: for example, lights on at 18:00 and off at 06:00 every day.

Works with Zemismart Zigbee hubs

Add it through the Zigbee hub page in the Tuya app, using the Zemismart M1, M6 or M1 Pro, or any Tuya Zigbee hub.

Tempered glass panel

The 2.5D curved tempered-glass panel has an anti-fingerprint finish.

Works as a Zigbee router

As a mains-powered device with a neutral, the switch also relays Zigbee signals for other Zigbee devices in your home, such as battery sensors and locks.

Installation

Connect live (L), neutral (N) and one output per gang (L1–L3). Turn off the power at the consumer unit first, and have a qualified electrician fit it.

How to pair

1. Power the switch and make sure your phone and hub are on the same 2.4GHz WiFi.
2. Press and hold any button until the rings cycle red, green and blue.
3. In the Tuya app, open your Zigbee hub and add a sub-device.

Frequently asked questions

Will it fit my UK back box?

Yes. The plate is 86 × 86mm with 60mm fixing centres, like a UK single switch. The body is 23mm deep, so a 25mm box is tight with thick cables, and a 35mm box gives more room.

How do I change the names?

Rename each button in the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app, and the screen updates.

Do I need a neutral wire?

Yes. Many older UK switch boxes have no neutral, so ask your electrician to check. If you don't have one, see our switch module.

Do I need a hub?

Yes. A Tuya Zigbee hub, such as the Zemismart M1 Pro, M6 or M1.

Is there a 4-gang version?

Not in the 86mm size. For 4 buttons with names, see the US-size ZMS-206US, which fits US/4×2 boxes only.

Does it work with Alexa and Google?

Yes, through the Tuya app's Alexa and Google Home skills.
