Zemismart バルブ付きZigbeeスマート水道メーター – Tuya対応 遠隔止水・使用量モニター(DN15 / DN20 / DN25)
Please note: this meter sends data to the app on a schedule (every 12 hours by default, adjustable from 1 to 24 hours), so it isn’t live. It needs a Tuya Zigbee hub (not included) and should be fitted by a plumber on your side of the stopcock. It’s for monitoring and controlling your own supply, not a replacement for your water company’s meter.

Turn the water off from your phone
The Zemismart 214C combines an ultrasonic water meter with a built-in valve. Open or close the valve from the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app, or from the button on the meter. That’s useful when you’re away from a holiday let, a garden building, a stable block or an irrigation line and want the water off.

Know how much water you use
The meter measures total consumption, instantaneous flow rate and water temperature with ultrasound. There’s no spinning impeller, so there are no moving parts in the water path to wear. The app keeps hourly use for the last 7 days and daily use for the last year.

You choose how often it reports
By default, the meter uploads data every 12 hours. In the app you can change this to every 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 12 or 24 hours. More frequent reporting gives you fresher data but uses more battery.
Alerts
The meter can push alarm messages to the app for abnormal conditions. Because data is sent on your chosen schedule, treat alerts as periodic checks, not instant warnings.

Choose your size
| Size | Length | Q3 (permanent flow) | Typical use |
|---|---|---|---|
| DN15 | 165mm | 2.5m³/h | Most homes, flats, holiday lets |
| DN20 | 195mm | 4.0m³/h | Larger homes, higher flow |
| DN25 | 225mm | 6.3m³/h | Large properties, smallholdings, irrigation |
Each meter comes with two brass connectors and washers. Your plumber will choose the fittings to join it to your pipework.

Home Assistant
Zemismart offers add-on files for Home Assistant through ZHA and Zigbee2MQTT. These are provided by Zemismart, not built into Home Assistant, and are available on request.

Pairing
Add the meter as a sub-device of your Tuya Zigbee hub in the app. Long-press the meter’s button to open the network menu and start pairing.

Installation
- Fit it on a straight run of pipe, with at least 10 × the pipe diameter of straight pipe before the meter and 5 × after it.
- Match the arrow on the meter to the direction of flow.
- Fit it on a horizontal pipe, or on a vertical pipe with water flowing upwards, so air doesn’t collect.
- Flush the pipe first and use a strainer before the meter.
- In unheated or outdoor spaces, insulate against frost.

Reading the display
The LCD shows forward flow in cubic metres. Short-press the button to step through reverse flow, flow rate, date, time, diameter, valve position and status.

Frequently asked questions
Can it shut off the water automatically if there’s a leak?
Not reliably. The meter reports on a schedule (1–24 hours), so it can’t react instantly. Use it to turn the water off remotely when you choose.
How quickly does the valve respond to the app?
The meter is battery-powered and talks to the hub at intervals, so a command may take some time to arrive. Test it after installation to see how long it takes on your system.
How often does it update?
Every 12 hours by default. Set it to 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 12 or 24 hours in the app.
Will it replace my water company’s meter?
No. Your water company’s meter belongs to them and mustn’t be removed or tampered with. Fit this one on your side of the stopcock.
Can I use it to charge or cut off tenants?
Check the rules first. Water resale is regulated, and this isn’t a certified billing meter. Cutting off a tenant’s water supply may also be unlawful. Use the valve for your own property.
What’s the difference between this and the 213E?
The 214C has a valve and an adjustable reporting interval. The 213E is meter-only and reports once a day.
