Zemismart Zigbeeスマート水道メーター – Tuya・Home Assistant対応 超音波式水使用量モニター(DN15 / DN20 / DN25)
Please note: this meter sends its data to the app once every 24 hours. It isn’t live, and that can’t be changed. It has no valve, so it can’t turn the water off. It needs a Tuya Zigbee hub (not included) and should be fitted by a plumber on your side of the stopcock. It’s for monitoring your own use, not a replacement for your water company’s meter.
Need to turn the water off remotely? See the 214C smart water meter with valve.

Know how much water your home really uses
The Zemismart 213E is an ultrasonic smart water meter for monitoring your own water use. It measures the flow with ultrasound instead of a spinning impeller, so there are no moving parts in the water path to wear out. It tracks total consumption, instantaneous flow rate and water temperature, then sends the data to the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app through your Zigbee hub.

Daily and hourly history in the app
The app stores hourly water use for the last 7 days and daily use for the last year, so you can spot patterns. For example, you’ll see when the garden hose ran all evening, or whether use creeps up overnight. The meter itself stores 730 days of daily readings and 48 months of history.

Alerts for unusual conditions
The meter records events such as empty pipe, reverse flow, leakage, pipe burst, overload, temperature and sensor faults, and low battery. It reports them to the app, where you’ll get a notification. Because data is sent once a day, treat these alerts as a daily check-up, not an instant leak alarm.

Choose your size
| Size | Meter thread | Length | Q3 (permanent flow) | Starting flow | Typical use |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| DN15 | G¾ | 165mm | 2.5m³/h | 2 L/h | Most homes and flats |
| DN20 | G1 | 195mm | 4.0m³/h | 2 L/h | Larger homes, higher flow |
| DN25 | G1¼ | 225mm | 6.3m³/h | 3 L/h | Large properties, smallholdings, light commercial |
Each meter comes with two brass connectors and washers. Your plumber will choose the right fittings to join it to your pipework (for example 15mm or 22mm copper).

Battery-powered, IP68, fits horizontally or vertically
A built-in 3.6V lithium battery powers the meter, with a rated life of 6+ years according to the manual. There’s no wiring. The body is rated IP68, and the meter can be fitted on a horizontal or vertical pipe.
Works with Home Assistant
Zemismart states the 213E works with Home Assistant through Zigbee2MQTT, so you can add your water use to the Home Assistant Energy dashboard alongside gas and electricity.
Easy pairing
Add the meter as a sub-device of your Tuya Zigbee hub in the app. Long-press the meter’s button to bring up the network menu and start pairing.

Installation
- Fit it on a straight run of pipe, with at least 10 × the pipe diameter of straight pipe before the meter and 5 × after it, for accurate readings.
- Match the arrow on the meter to the direction of water flow.
- Fit it where air can’t collect: on a horizontal pipe, or on a vertical pipe with the water flowing upwards. Don’t fit it at a high point or on a downward-flowing pipe.
- Flush the pipe before fitting and use a strainer or filter before the meter.
- In outdoor or unheated spaces, insulate the pipe and meter against frost.

Reading the display
The LCD shows the total in cubic metres. Short-press the button to step through flow rate, serial number, date, diameter and error history.

Frequently asked questions
Does it show water use in real time?
No. It sends its data to the app once every 24 hours, and this can’t be changed. The display on the meter shows the live total.
Can it turn off my water if there’s a leak?
No. There’s no valve. It can only record and report events. For remote shut-off, see the 214C smart water meter with valve.
Will it replace my water company’s meter?
No. It’s for monitoring your own use. Your water company’s meter belongs to them and mustn’t be removed or tampered with. Fit this one on your side of the stopcock.
Can I use it to charge tenants for water?
It can help you see each flat’s use. If you plan to recharge tenants, check the rules on water resale with your water company or Ofwat first, as this isn’t a certified billing meter.
Which size do I need?
Most UK homes with 15mm pipework need the DN15. Choose DN20 or DN25 for larger supply pipes. Your plumber can confirm.
How long does the battery last?
The manual rates it at 6+ years. That figure depends on use and conditions.
Does it work with Home Assistant?
Zemismart says it works through Zigbee2MQTT.
