Please note: this switch needs a neutral wire and a Tuya Zigbee hub. The 86 × 86mm plate is sized for UK single back boxes. We recommend a 35mm deep box (see the FAQ).
A Zigbee glass touch switch for UK homes
The Zemismart ZN-RS01E is a Zigbee smart light switch with a tempered glass panel and round touch keys. It’s sized for 86mm UK back boxes. Touch a key to switch the light, or control it from the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app, by voice, or on a timer. Choose 1, 2, 3 or 4 gangs, in black or white glass.

You will need a Tuya Zigbee hub
Add the switch to a Tuya Zigbee hub in the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app. The hub is sold separately.
App control
Rename each gang, switch lights on and off from anywhere, and open the settings to choose the relay status (what happens after a power cut) and the indicator light mode.
Timers
- Timer: switch lights on or off at a set time, for example 18:30.
- Countdown: switch on or off once after a set time, for example after 60 minutes.
- Delay: turn the light off a set time after each time it’s switched on.
Wiring
Connect live to L, neutral to N, and each light to L1–L4 (L1–L3 on the 3 gang).

Frequently asked questions
Will it fit a UK back box?
It’s sized for 86mm boxes, and its slotted fixing holes cover the UK 60.3mm screw centres. The module is 25mm deep, so we recommend a 35mm deep back box to leave room for the wires.
Does it need a neutral wire?
Yes. Many older UK lighting circuits have no neutral at the switch. If yours doesn’t, see the 606EU-Z no neutral switch.
Do I need a hub?
Yes, a Tuya Zigbee hub such as the Zemismart M1 or M6.
Does it work without a hub?
No. If you’d rather not use a hub, see the ZM202 Matter WiFi touch switch.

Can I fit it myself?
In the UK, new lighting circuits and some changes must meet Part P of the Building Regulations. We recommend a qualified electrician.
