The Zemismart ZM106 is a Matter over WiFi light switch with large physical push buttons, made for standard UK 86mm back boxes. Scan its Matter QR code in Apple Home, Google Home or SmartThings and control your lights from your phone, by voice or on a schedule, with no Zigbee hub needed. Choose 1, 2 or 3 gangs.

Pair by scanning the Matter QR code
Open Apple Home, Google Home or SmartThings, add a Matter device and scan the QR code on the switch. Keep the code safe: you’ll need it to re-pair.
You need a Matter controller
Matter devices need a controller on the same home network, for example an Apple TV 4K, HomePod mini or HomePod (2nd gen), a Google Nest Hub (2nd gen) or Nest Hub Max, or a SmartThings Station. A Zemismart M1 Pro can also act as a Matter controller.
Wiring
Connect live to L, neutral to N, and each light to L1, L2 or L3. A neutral wire is required.

Frequently asked questions
Will it fit a UK back box?
The plate is 86 × 86mm with 60mm fixing centres, the same as a standard UK single switch. The module is about 26mm deep, so a 35mm back box is recommended.
Does it need a neutral wire?
Yes. No neutral at your switch? See the 606EU-Z no neutral Zigbee switch.
Does it work with Alexa?
The manufacturer says Alexa support is still being tested and isn’t released yet. Use Apple Home, Google Home or SmartThings.
Do I need a hub?
You don’t need a Zigbee hub, but you do need a Matter controller such as an Apple TV, HomePod mini, Nest Hub (2nd gen) or SmartThings Station.
What’s the difference between the ZM106 and the ZM101?
Both are UK-size Matter push button switches. The ZM101 adds a small screen above each button to show a custom name.
Can I fit it myself?
In the UK, mains wiring should be done by a qualified electrician and must comply with Part P of the Building Regulations.
