Real buttons, with a name for each one

The Zemismart ZMS-208 pairs large push buttons, which you can feel, with a screen down the side that names each one: "Kitchen", "Study", "Hall" or whatever you choose. If you prefer a proper click to a glass touch panel, or want something that's easy for everyone in the house to use, this is the switch.

Vertical or horizontal

Choose names down the side (vertical) or a wide screen across the top with the buttons in a row (horizontal). Both have the same big push buttons, features and wiring. Check with your electrician which way round your wall box is fitted.

Easy for the whole family

Each press gives a clear, positive click, so it's simple for children, older relatives and guests. The screen lights up as you approach and turns itself off when no one is around.

White or black, 1 to 4 gangs

Names in your language

Rename each button in the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app, and the screen updates straight away. Names can be written in English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Hebrew, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese and Chinese.

Screen size

The horizontal name screen is 116 × 27mm and shows up to 9 English characters per button, in 12 languages.

Radar wake, child lock and power-cut memory

• Radar sensing: the screen lights up when someone approaches, and you choose how long it stays on.
• Child lock: disable the buttons on the wall while the app and voice still work.
• Relay status: choose whether lights stay off, turn on, or return to their last state after a power cut.

Two-way and multi-way switching, with no extra wiring

With multi-control association in the Tuya app, you can link several Zigbee switches to the same light. For example, fit one at the bottom and one at the top of the stairs, and both control the landing light without running a strapping cable between them.

Tuya app, Apple Home, SmartThings and voice

• Tuya Smart / Smart Life app: on/off, timers, scenes and settings, through a Tuya Zigbee hub
• Apple Home and Siri: through the Zemismart M6 Matter Zigbee hub
• SmartThings: through the M6 hub (the SmartThings hub isn't supported)
• Alexa and Google Assistant: through the Tuya app's skills
• Home Assistant: through the M6 hub's Matter bridge

Installation

Connect live (L), neutral (N) and one output per gang (L1–L4). Turn off the power at the breaker first, and have a qualified electrician fit it.

Pairing

1. Power the switch, and make sure your phone and Zigbee hub are on the same 2.4GHz WiFi.
2. Press and hold any button until the text on the screen flashes.
3. In the Tuya app, open your Zigbee hub and add a sub-device.

Frequently asked questions

Will it fit a UK back box?

No. It's made for US and Latin American (4×2) boxes. For UK homes, see the 86mm ZMS-206EU or ZM206 name display switches. If you want physical push buttons in UK size, see the ZM101 Matter push button switch.

Is it a touch switch?

No. It has real push buttons that you press, with a display beside them.

Do I need a hub?

Yes. A Tuya Zigbee hub for the app and voice. For Apple Home or SmartThings, use the Zemismart M6.

Can two switches control one light?

Yes. Use multi-control association in the Tuya app to link Zigbee switches together.

Do I need a neutral wire?

Yes.
