The Zemismart ZN-USC1U-HT is a glass touch wall switch for mains-powered curtain and roller shutter motors, with a touch slider that sets the exact position right on the wall. Slide to 25%, 50% or 90% open, or tap open, pause or close. Through a Tuya Zigbee hub, you can also control it from the Tuya app, by voice with Alexa or Google, and with Siri in Apple Home via a Zemismart M1 Pro or M6 hub.

Set the position with a touch slider

Slide your finger along the light bar to open the curtains to any position from 0% to 100%. The bar lights up to show how far open they are. You can also set the position in the app.

Voice control

Say “Alexa, open the curtains” or “Hey Google, close the blinds”. With a Zemismart M1 Pro or M6 hub, you can use Siri and Apple Home too.

Tuya app control and calibration

In the Tuya or Smart Life app, you can open and close the curtains from anywhere, reverse the motor direction and calibrate the travel time so percentage positions are accurate. Share control with the rest of your household, and group all your blinds together.

Schedules and scenes

Close the curtains at 22:30 for bed, open them at 7:30 to wake you up, or link them to sunrise and sunset. Combine them with other Zigbee devices, for example opening the curtains and switching on the lights when a sensor detects you walking in.

Which motors it suits

The switch works with mains AC motors (100–240V, up to 200W) that have separate open and close wires:

• 4-wire roller shutter and tubular motors with mechanical limits
• 4- or 5-wire sliding curtain motors

Connect live (L), neutral (N) and the motor’s forward (M11) and reverse (M12) wires. The motor’s earth goes to the earth in the wall box. It should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Will it fit a UK back box?

No. The plate is 120 × 72mm, made for US and Latin American (4 × 2) wall boxes.

Is there a UK-size version?

Yes. The ZN-LC1E Zigbee curtain switch has an 86 × 86mm plate that fits UK back boxes, in white, grey or black.

Do I need a hub?

Yes, a Tuya Zigbee hub. For Apple Home and Siri, use a Zemismart M1 Pro or M6 hub.

What motors does it work with?

Mains AC (100–240V) curtain, blind and roller shutter motors with separate open and close wires, up to 200W. It doesn’t work with battery or DC motors.

Can I set the curtains halfway from the wall?

Yes. Slide along the light bar to any position. Calibrate the motor in the app first.

Does it need a neutral wire?

Yes, as well as live.

What’s the difference from the ZM20A?

The ZM20A uses Matter over WiFi for Apple Home, Alexa, Google and SmartThings without a Zigbee hub. This switch uses Zigbee and Tuya, and adds the touch slider on the panel.
