Please note: this is a mains-wired module for a qualified electrician to install. It needs a Tuya Zigbee hub (not included). It’s 25mm deep, so in the UK it usually needs a 35mm deep back box behind the switch. A standard 25mm box won’t leave enough room.
Keep your light switches, make them smart
Like the switches you’ve already got, or want to keep a period or designer look? The Zemismart ZB-EU-02 fits in the back box behind your existing switch. The switch on the wall keeps working as normal, and you also get app control, voice control and timers for two separate lights.

Works with or without a neutral wire
Many UK homes have no neutral at the light switch, only a switched live, which rules out most smart switches. This module can work without a neutral. If a neutral is available, connect it too, because it gives the most stable operation, especially with low-wattage LED bulbs.
2-way switching kept
If a light is controlled from two places, such as a hallway or a landing, the module supports two-way switching. Both switches keep working, and so does the app. The wiring diagrams show one-way and two-way setups with and without neutral.
App, voice and schedules
- App: switch each light on or off from anywhere in the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app.
- Voice: link the app to Amazon Alexa or Google Home, then say “Alexa, turn off the landing light”.
- Apple Home: through the Zemismart M6 Zigbee hub (sold separately).
- Schedules: turn the porch light on at 7pm and off at 10:30pm, every day.
The module also has its own button for switching and pairing.
Power-on state and indicator settings
In the app, choose what each light does after a power cut: stay off, turn on, or go back to its last state. You can also set how the indicator light behaves.
Wiring
The module connects to live (L), the two light outputs (L1 and L2) and, optionally, neutral (N). Three flying leads (yellow K1, green COM, blue K2) go to your existing wall switch. Turn off the power at the consumer unit first, and have a qualified electrician fit it.

Frequently asked questions
Will it fit behind my UK light switch?
It’s 50 × 50 × 25mm. A standard 25mm UK back box is usually too shallow with the switch and cables in it, so a 35mm deep box is recommended. Your electrician can swap the box if needed.
Do I need a neutral wire?
No. It works without one. If you have a neutral at the switch, connecting it is recommended for the most stable operation.
Will my LED bulbs flicker without a neutral?
They can with very low-wattage loads. The minimum load is 5W per gang. If you see flicker or a faint glow when the light is off, connect a neutral or ask your electrician about a bypass capacitor.
Can I still use my normal switch?
Yes. The existing switch keeps working, and the app shows the light’s current state.
Does it work with two-way (landing) switching?
Yes. Wiring diagrams for two-way switching are included.
Do I need a hub?
Yes. It needs a Tuya Zigbee hub. For Apple Home, use the Zemismart M6 hub.
