The Zemismart Zigbee colour changing downlight gives you 16 million colours and a full range of whites in one recessed ceiling light. Set a soft warm white for everyday living, a bright daylight white for the kitchen, or fill the room with colour for a party or film night. It's controlled from the Tuya, Smart Life or SmartThings app, or by voice with Alexa or Google, and comes in four sizes from 7W to 15W.
Want white light with very little glare? See the ZMZ-SL. Already have spotlights? Swap the bulbs instead with the Zigbee MR16.
Control it from the sofa? See the ZMR4 Zigbee 4-button remote.
Make your light switch smart: see the ZB-EU-02 Zigbee switch module, which fits behind your existing switch.

16 million colours and every shade of white
Pick any colour from the colour wheel, or choose a white from warm 2700K to cool 6500K. You can dim either to suit the moment.
Needs a Zigbee hub
The downlight uses Zigbee 3.0, so it needs a hub (not included). Any of these will work:
- Tuya Zigbee hub: the Tuya or Smart Life app, plus Alexa and Google Home voice control.
- SmartThings hub: the SmartThings app, plus Alexa and Google.
- Amazon Echo with a built-in Zigbee hub (such as Echo Plus or Echo Show 2nd gen): voice and app control through Alexa directly.
Music sync
With a Tuya Zigbee hub, the lights can pulse and change colour in time with music picked up by your phone. This feature only works with a Tuya hub.
Groups, scenes and schedules
- Groups: control every downlight in a room, or the whole house, together.
- Scenes: save your favourite colours and brightness for movie night, dinner or reading.
- Schedules: wake up to a gentle warm light, or have the lights on when you get home.

Check the cut-out size for your ceiling before ordering. If you're replacing old downlights, measure the existing hole.
Installation
Cut a hole of the right size, connect the light to the lighting circuit, then fold up the spring clips and push it into the ceiling.
This is a mains-wired light fitting. In the UK it must be installed by a qualified electrician.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a hub?
Yes: a Tuya Zigbee hub, a SmartThings hub, or an Echo with a built-in Zigbee hub. The hub isn't included.
Which size do I need?
Measure your ceiling hole or the old light's cut-out, then match it to the size table. Larger sizes give more light for bigger rooms.
Can it do plain white light?
Yes. Choose any white from warm 2700K to cool 6500K, as well as colours.
Does music sync work with every hub?
No, only with a Tuya Zigbee hub.
Can I use it in a bathroom?
Only if the IP rating allows it for that zone. Check with your electrician (see the specification).
Does it need an electrician?
Yes. It's a mains-wired ceiling light, so it should be installed by a qualified electrician.
