Smart curtains on your existing pole or track, with no hub
The Zemismart ZM85EL-2R is a battery-powered curtain robot that clips onto your existing curtain pole or track and opens and closes the curtain for you. There's no new track to fit, no wiring and no plug socket. It connects to your home WiFi through the included USB dongle, so you don't need a separate smart home hub.
Control it from the Tuya or Smart Life app, by voice with Alexa or Google, with the remote, or with the buttons on the robot.

Fits poles and the most common tracks
The robot comes with mounting parts for four types of fitting. Measure yours before ordering:

Fitting the robot
Clip the right mounting part onto your pole or slide it into your track, then push the robot into place and adjust the tension. No tools or drilling needed.
One robot or two
Use one robot for a single curtain that opens to one side, or two robots for a pair of curtains that part in the middle.
WiFi control with the Tuya app
Plug the WiFi dongle into any USB power socket within range and pair it with the robot. Then open and close the curtains from anywhere in the Tuya or Smart Life app, set an exact position, and check the battery level.
Voice control and schedules
Link your Smart Life account to Alexa or Google Home and say "Alexa, open the living room curtains". Set the curtains to open at 8am and close at 10pm, every day or on chosen days.
Remote with preset positions
The remote has open, stop and close buttons, plus one-touch presets for partly open positions, so you can let in just the right amount of light.
Battery and solar charging
The built-in 3000mAh battery runs for up to 5 months between charges (Zemismart's figure). Choose the version with the solar panel to keep it topped up from daylight, so you rarely need to take it down to charge.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a hub?
No. The included WiFi dongle connects the robot to your home WiFi. Plug the dongle into a USB power socket near the curtain.
Will it fit my curtain pole?
It fits poles from 20mm to 28mm in diameter. Thicker poles, such as 35mm, won't fit.
Do I need one or two?
One for a single curtain that opens to one side. Two for a pair of curtains that open from the middle.
Does it work with Alexa and Google Home?
Yes. Link your Tuya or Smart Life account to Alexa or Google Home.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 5 months between charges, depending on how often the curtains move and how heavy they are. The solar panel version keeps it topped up.
