Please note: this is a Brazilian-standard (NBR 14136) wall socket for homes in Brazil and other countries that use this socket type. It isn't suitable for installation in the UK.
The Zemismart ZTB242A is a smart double wall socket with a white glass front, one 10A outlet and one 20A outlet. Switch each outlet with the buttons on the socket, from the Tuya or Smart Life app, by voice with Alexa or Google, or on a schedule. It connects over Zigbee through a Tuya Zigbee hub.

A 10A and a 20A outlet in one plate
- 10A outlet: for everyday devices such as a lamp, fan, humidifier or phone charger.
- 20A outlet: for high-power appliances such as an oven, microwave, coffee machine or hair dryer.
The two outlets are controlled independently, so you can switch one off while the other stays on.
Buttons on the socket
The on/off buttons between the outlets let you switch power by hand, which is useful for guests or when your phone isn't to hand. A small indicator light shows the status.
App and voice control
Switch each outlet, or both at once, in the Tuya or Smart Life app from anywhere. Link the app to Alexa or Google Home and say "Alexa, turn on the socket".
Schedules and timers
Set a humidifier to switch on at 22:00, a lamp to come on when it gets dark, or a countdown timer to switch something off after an hour. You can share control with family members, too.
Installation
The socket fits a standard Brazilian 4 × 2 wall box and needs live, neutral and earth wires. Switch off the power at the circuit breaker before fitting. It should be installed by a qualified electrician, and the circuit must be rated for the 20A outlet.

Setting up
Press and hold the on/off button for 7–10 seconds until the indicator light flashes quickly (about twice a second). Then add the socket as a sub-device of your Zigbee hub in the Tuya or Smart Life app.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use this in the UK?
No. It's a Brazilian-standard socket. UK plugs won't fit, and it isn't designed for UK wiring.
Do I need a hub?
Yes, a Tuya Zigbee hub.
